Family Pictures

We finally took our family pictures on the windiest/coldest day. But at least they are freaking adorable(:

Our imitation of the one and only Seth Michael Hilton.

Eye Candy.

401 has a 7th roommate. He's a he. He's pretty hot. He keeps us protected. He creeps the untrained eye out. He goes by the name of Jacob.

Meet Jacob:

Visitors like to "'pimp" him up.
Jacob got stuck in the window and got a nice battle wound across his face.

Jacob is a lovely addition to 401 and brings much character to the apartment. His favorite thing he likes to do is startle people. The night he moved in, he was just chillin' in the front room and Shacy walked in and he scared the poo out of her! It was hilarious! He's joined a few of the girls in the shower room... and has made an unwanted appearance during a super scary movie. It's been quite the adventurous addition.
Lately, whenever visitors come, they feel the need to give him some form of additional attire to wear. His wig was donated by our good friend Nick Pollock and the rad t-shirt by Cory McKnight. They just add on to the wonderful man he is.
Jacob, we are so glad you came to join us and for the wonderful atmosphere you brought with you as well!
(side note: does anyone else think that with the wig, Jacob is Jacob from Twilight and without; Jacob from new moon??)

A lovely surprise..

From a long hard day at work, I just wanted to quickly change and run over to the quad for the World's Longest Kissing Chain. I run up four flights of stairs and into my room just to see that my bed was GONE. I don't know why, but I immediately went to the shower and ta-da! My mattress was chilling in the tub. My lovely roommates decided to hide all my stuff and put them in various locations. It was such a great surprise. But with being on such a tight schedule, I left everything where I found it and ran off to the quad for the oh so freezing night of kissing. Hours later, I was too tired to haul my mattress out of the shower and find my comforter that I just slept in Erica's bed. Aren't roommates just dandy?

Someone call the Fire Department, cause our cooking's on fire!

Literally.
Our cooking adventure started after the 'paint dance'. All of us were starving so we decided to cook us up some yummy food. Since there were 9 of us we settled for spaghetti. We were all cooking away and April was in charge of noodles. Hahahaha, 2 packets of noodles. We will be eating spaghetti for months. 'Nuff said. Then Erica wanted some garlic bread so while the noodles were in the making, Erica, Stephano, and Laurie zipped to the grocery store and grabbed some french bread. They brought it back and Ashlee began preparing it to magically turn it into garlic bread. In the meantime, April got a lot of crap from the mass amount of noodles. I don't think she'll be making noodles for a group anytime soon... ;) The garlic bread was done so we popped it in the oven. It was in there for maybe a mere 3 minutes and Stephano and Ashlee went to check on it. Ashlee opened the oven door, and to her surprise, the bread was on fire!!!! She started freaking out and quickly turned off the oven. Stephano went over and tried to blow out the flames. Quickly, we all opted to using the fire extinguisher. Luckily, Stephano knew how to use a fire extinguisher and had that sucker out in a jiffy! Those that were in the kitchen were freaking out trying to get the smoke in fear that it would set of the fire alarm. Oh, I failed to mention this was 12:30 am! We thought we may have out smarted the alarms when Stephano says "Wow, I'm surprised the alarm didn't go off!" Jinx. Yep, it went off and our whole building had to evacuate. Surprised and just woken from their lovely slumbers and in their stylish bed attire, they were not too happy. We we so embarrassed and tried to avoid the people. No such luck. They found out it was us and was girl was furious! Yeah, because we totally set off the alarm on purpose!!! We apologized and the police came and OK everything. We started cleaning up the lovely mess and we still left with a butt-load of noodles. April, Alex, and Britney thought they would be brilliant and leave a little treat for our neighbors... (see photos below) Around 1:30 the party took a wrap and now we all have this lovely tale to tell. Welcome to college!
Our poor bread :( the inside looked so yummy, too!
Our oven after the fire extinguisher did it's duty

Treat for the neighbors

Yum, yum, spaghetti!
